Adele shared a sweet moment with Rich Paul before the public eyes in an adorable way. The “Easy on Me” hitmaker showed off a glimpse of her sweet interaction with her sports agent fiance when she accidentally interrupted his livestream by making a surprise FaceTime call.
Paul was livestreaming on Twitch on Thursday, April 13 when the 41-year-old’s phone could be heard ringing in the middle. He then searched for his phone in his pocket and answered the video call. To the surprise of may, Adele’s voice could be heard as she greeted her beau by saying, “Hey, baby.”
In response, Paul told Adele, “I’m streaming, I’ll call you right back.” The “Set Fire to the Rain” songstress went on to reply, “Oh my God,” but then asked, “Who are you streaming [with]?” The founder of Klutch Sports Group, who was doing the livestream with content creator Kai Cenat, answered in return, “I’m streaming with my guy Kai.”
Kai, who was sitting close to Paul, had his face light up when he found out that it was Adele who was on the phone with Paul. He then greeted the 43-year-old singer by saying, “Hi Adele! Hi!” The “Someone Like You” hitmaker could be heard telling her beau, “Alright, I’ll call you,” before greeting Kai back, “Hi, darling!”
When Paul hung up his call with Adele, surprised Kai exclaimed, “Oh snap!” The YouTuber continued by throwing a joke at the former, “Who’s that?” He then began to sing Adele’s hit single “Hello”. Kai’s teasing prompted Paul to laugh.
Having witnessed the sweet interaction between Adele and Paul, many turned to Twitter to gush over it. One in particular wrote, ” ‘Hi darling’ she is the best.” Another simply penned, “We love adele.” A third gushed, “This is sooooooo cute,” whereas a fourth raved, “Aww. Adele and Rich [are] so adorable.”
Just weeks before, Adele was speculated to have secretly written and recorded new romantic songs about her finding love with her fiance. “Some of 30 was actually recorded before the pandemic hit so Adele was sat on the record for ages during lockdown. Since then her life has totally transformed,” a source told The Sun.
“She has gone from rock bottom to being madly in love and wants the world to know it. Her music reflects that and the next album will be her most optimistic ever. She won’t be the queen of heartbreak ballads for much longer,” the source added.
Adele and Paul got engaged in 2021. Romance aside, the “Chasing Pavements” singer is a mother to 10-year-old son Angelo whom she shared with ex husband Simon Konecki together.
