6ix9ine’s Lawyer Reveals Why He Hasn’t Applied For Bail

6ix9ine’s legal situation gets more complicated.

Tekashi 6ix9ine is currently sitting behind bars, awaiting trial for the racketeering and firearms charges he was hit with in 2018. Earlier this month, it was reported that he was preparing a $1.5M bail package in order to be released from federal prison. When the court date came and he wasn’t released on bail, many people were asking why that didn’t happen. One of the lawyers representing 6ix9ine in his federal case revealed it comes from complications within his legal team.

6ix9ine’s bail plans were pushed back after his attorney, Lance Lazarro, was temporarily removed from the case, according to the “GUMMO” rapper’s attorney, Dawn Fiorio.

“The lawyers for two of the defendants raised issues of conflict of interest that Lance Lazzaro had represented two other co-defendants in the case and the judge removed him from the case until the conflicts could be waived by Mr. Hernandez and also by [6ix9ine’s co-defendants’] respective clients,” she told XXL.

Adding, “So until that could be done, Lance is not representing Daniel Hernandez [6ix9ine] right now because of what happened, of course, we’re going to postpone the bail hearing until Lance can come back on the case.”

The judge on the case temporarily removed Lazzaro but ordered him to submit a letter that details the work he did for Kifano “Shotti” Jordan, who served as 6ix9ine’s former manager, and Faheem “Crippy” Walter. Lazzaro has until Monday to submit those letters.
