50 Cent is reminding everyone that he’s more than the internet troll many people think he is. The rapper and TV producer reacted strongly after media outlets labeled him as such following recent online jokes about *BMF* actor Lil Meech.

Reports surfaced that *BMF* had been canceled after four seasons, and 50 Cent quickly jumped on social media to poke fun at Lil Meech. He posted an AI-generated image of the actor holding a sign that read “out of work,” along with a teasing caption. While fans are used to his humor, some outlets criticized him for being a troll rather than focusing on his work.

50 Cent took issue with that label, sharing a screenshot of a TMZ headline and writing, “The fact that TMZ is calling me a troll is very troubling. I have worked hard to build my brand, and I’m now being reduced to nothing more than a troll.”

He also addressed rumors suggesting he was behind the *BMF* cancellation. “I am deeply concerned by the assumption that I had any involvement in the recent cancellation of *BMF*. I intend to investigate this matter to understand exactly how and why it occurred,” he stated.

His ongoing tension with Lil Meech reportedly started after issues involving Lil Meech’s father, Big Meech, and rapper Rick Ross. 50 Cent also accused Lil Meech of being under the influence on set and being sent to rehab.

Despite his online jokes, 50 Cent insists he’s more than a provocateur. He wants fans and the media to see him as a serious businessman and creative force beyond the social media drama.
