16-Year-Old Reportedly Shot 22 Times By Her Boyfriend, While Walking Her Dog
In a shocking announcement made yesterday by the Houston Police Department, a 17-year-old male by the name of Frank Deleon Jr. has been arrested for allegedly shooting his ex-girlfriend 22 times while she was walking her dog in the southwest region of the city. The reason behind the execution-style murder is said to have been related to accusations of unfaithfulness within their relationship.
According to reports, Frank Deleon Jr. summoned the 16-year-old victim, Diamond Alvarez, to meet him at a local park near her house, via text message. Shortly thereafter gunshots rang out and the family dog ran all the way home. That is when Diamond Alvarez’s family feared the worse and began to look for her in a frantic manner.
The Alvarez family found Diamond’s body near the park where she normally took the family dog for walks during the nighttime. Her mother, Anna Machado, tried to revive her daughter by performing CPR, but it was to no avail as she was pronounced dead on the scene.
Frank Deleon Jr is currently being held at the Harris County Jail. His bound is $250,000. Upon his arrest, the local authorities reported that Deleon was in the process of packing his bags so that he could make an attempt to flee.
