Young Thug shares his top five rappers and albums

Young Thug has revealed his list of top five favorite rappers and albums during a conversation on Adin Ross’ Kick stream. His selections included a mix of legendary and contemporary artists, showing the range of his musical influences.
Thug named 2Pac, Drake, Wale, Big Sean, Kanye West, and Lil Wayne among his favorite rappers, with Wale and Big Sean sharing a spot as a tie. He said both artists are often underrated despite their lyrical abilities and impact on hip hop.
When it came to albums, Thug included his own project *So Much Fun* on the list, along with *The Black Album* by Jay-Z, *Take Care* by Drake, *All Eyez On Me* by 2Pac, and *DS4Ever* by Gunna. His choice of Gunna’s album stood out because of their public fallout following Gunna’s legal situation.
Asked about the possibility of reconciling with Gunna, Thug said he didn’t think it would happen anytime soon.
During the interview, Thug also weighed in on the ongoing debate between Drake and Kendrick Lamar. He chose Drake, explaining that Drake’s overall impact, consistency, and influence on culture made him the top pick. Thug still gave Kendrick credit as the greatest artist from the West Coast and acknowledged his influence and artistry.
