Young Mission Entertainment, a Paris-based Ghanaian booking and entertainment company, which has over the years made very major impacts in the lives of most artists in the country has officially been able to sign its ever first unique female rapper Freda Rhymz.
Freda Rhymz parted ways with her former record label Black Avenue Muzik after working with them for a year.
Born Freda Baffour Awuah, Freda Rhymz made history by emerging the winner of the sixth season of the MTN Hitmaker music reality show. She is the first female to win that reality show.
Through intense effort, Freda Rhymz released three official singles and music videos between March 2018 and May 2019 under Black Avenue Muzik.
She released ‘Jammin’ (a Hip-hop/Rap song), ‘I Dey Go’ featuring Kelvyn Boy (an Afrobeats song), and ‘Pay’ featuring D-Black (an Afrobeats/Hip-hop song)’.
Apart from the songs/videos, the rapper also released two freestyle music videos within that same period and two label singles and music videos -‘Kokorkor’ and ‘WataBamBum’.
Today, the management and booking company is very proud to announce their signing of Freda Rhymz into their good books.
The contract is a five-year period and is subject to renewal.
In a short ceremony to outdoor their new artist at the young mission entertainment office at the airport, CEO of young mission entertainment, Nana Amoako Frempong, told SVTV Africa, he was excited about his new signing and looking forward in working with Freda Rhymz.
“It’s difficult for a female artist to blow in Ghana and looking at how hard she has work to be where she is now, we thought of coming in and helping her reach the top. So I’m excited about the signing and looking forward in working with her”
The newly signed young mission entertainment artiste expressed her excitement and said, she has been longing to work with young mission entertainment.
Other Artistes who were arranged to be signed on to the company are music producer and singer, Danny Beatz, MC and Singer, OG.
