‘You don’t have to involve your colleague’ mother during beefing’ – Obrafour

Veteran Ghanaian rapper, Obrafour has advised artists in the country who engage their colleagues in beef not to extend it beyond the borders of entertainment.

The rapper, who is believed to be the greatest Ghanaian rapper of all time (you can argue that with yourself) said it’s unhealthy to diss people’s mothers just because you have a score to settle with a fellow musician.

Obrafour further said the motive behind the kind of beef they did back in the days was to boost sales but not what has permeated the industry lately…

When George Quaye of Joy FM asked him his opinion about the current beef in the industry, the rapper said:

“I don’t subscribe to it at all, talking about people’s mothers who have nothing to do with their music is a no-no. These are people who have nothing to do with the music, it is just sad “

“Reggie Rockstone in one of his songs says he was born with a microphone in his hands…the jab comes as no one is born with a microphone in their hands. it was just beautiful,”

Obrafuor added that they never took their beef personal, they did it only for commercial purpose.
