Shocks Entertainment recording artiste, Ayesem has admitted in an interview with Zionfelix on the ‘Uncut’ show that the changing trend in the Ghanaian music space is one that has pushed rappers like himself to do some little bit of singing.

According to him, if he had failed to join the current train of massive singing in the Ghana music space and insistently released more and more core rap songs, then he would certainly have been very hungry.

The “Koti” hitmaker stressed that in as much as he decided to add some singing to his craft to make him relevant in the music space, people should also note that the hallmark of any good musician is the ability of that artiste to be versatile which is what his singing should tell the world.

He stressed that his decision to add some singing to his rap is one he has never regretted. He explained that it is as a result of the singing he did on his very popular song “Koti”, which was a song against drug abuse that helped him to get the managerial deal he has with Shocks Entertainment now.
