Actor Will Smith will be traveling between two South Florida cities over the next week for the filming of a new movie.
Last week, the actor announced on Instagram that he is filming the fourth installment in the “Bad Boys” franchise in Miami and Fort Lauderdale.
The movie, which is still untitled, is scheduled to be released on June 14, according to the Miami Herald.
If you are traveling to Fort Lauderdale or Miami, several streets will be closed as crews film in different areas.
The Miami Herald reported that the following streets in Fort Lauderdale will be closed from 6 a.m. to noon. on Monday.
- Northbound A1A between Las Olas Boulevard and Bayshore Drive
- Poinsettia Street between A1A and Seabreeze Boulevard
- Cortez Street between A1A and Seabreeze Boulevard
- Castillo Street between A1A and Seabreeze Boulevard
- Sebastian Street between A1A and Seabreeze Boulevard
Several roads in Miami will be shut down periodically. They include:
- The easternmost lane of Brickell Avenue between 13th and 14th Streets on Feb. 28 from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.
- Southwest 2nd Avenue and 2nd Street on March 1 from 6 a.m. to 10 p.m.
- Southwest 2nd Avenue bridge between 3rd and 8th Streets on March 2 and 3 from 7 a.m. to 6:30 p.m.
