GhOne TV news anchor Nana Aba Anamoah has condemned the minority in parliament for referring Mrs. Lydia Alhassan a “Bloody Widow”.
The broadcast journalist has registered her displeasure of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) Members of Parliament for boycotting the swearing in of the newly elected Ayawaso West Wuogon Constituency MP Ms Lydia Alhassan and reffering her as “Bloody Widow”.
She had taken to her Twitter page to write:
“Someone sat down in the middle of the night, racked his/her brain and came up with BLOODY WIDOW?. And the Minority caucus thought ‘Oh, what a genius!’ oh Lord. NDC MPs no try for this one.”
Members of Parliament on the minority side, National Democratic Congress (NDC), on Tuesday 5th February 2019 staged a walkout during the swearing-in of Lydia Alhassan, the newly elected Member of Parliament for the Ayawaso West Wuogon constituency.
The minority, however, displayed placards with the inscription “bloody widow”, which suggested that the minority was actually against the swearing- in of the newly elected Member of Parliament for the Ayawaso West Wuogon constituency, Lydia Alhassan.
