What is the latest technology?

What is the latest technology? – So I saw this for the first time in malls in Australia, the taps in the washroom that have a drier installed within. Usually what used to happen was that you would wash your hands and then dry your hands using the drier which used to fixed somewhere else. It looks like this

You just place your hand in the middle, the water will come automatically and then after washing, you place your hands under the side bars, the drier will start.

This might be common in other places also but I just saw this recently and hope this technology comes to India also soon.
