Ghanaian music duo, Keche have added their voices to the recent Stonebwoy and Shatta Wale’s unity and peacemaking.
Speaking in an interview with Amansan Krakye on Radio Central, they entreated Shatta Wale and Stonebwoy to keep the peace because it’s a good thing and the industry needs it to grow.
“Unity is a good thing, we need it in the game. When you look at our sister country Nigeria, they are doing it, they are one and it’s taking them farther”, they said.
Keche also revealed that the peace should come from their hearts. It shouldn’t be that they are being forced to be united.
“But it has to come from their hearts and minds to know that what they are doing is wrong. Dr Kofi Abban and Nana Aba Anamoah have done their part but it has to come from them because you can’t force them to like each other, you can only talk to them”, Keche advised.
The “Odo” singers also disclosed how happy they will become if this unity last forever and not be a nine day wonder.
“If they become one I will be very happy because I really need that unity in the game. If they say no, who am I, I can’t force them but I’m hoping the unity that they let people saw online will work so that the industry becomes successfully”, Keche added.
