The Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Angel Broadcasting Network (ABN), Samuel Kofi Acheampong popularly known as Bronzy Teflon has revealed that it is part of his long-term plans to take over the media landscape in the country which will be done within a matter of time.
According to him, he poised to ensure that Ghanaians get quick results to their problems through radio in line with the popular saying “radio gets results”
“We are not just establishing branches in various parts of the country for the sake of it but is part of a bigger plan to ensure that we reach every corner of the country with our broadcast in order to achieve the needed results our listeners want…that is to say have their problems resolved by the various stakeholders”, he disclosed.
Samuel Kofi Acheampong who is charting this path with experienced hands in the media, believes the expansion apart from creating job avenues will go a long way to deepen the country’s democracy through participation with community programmes to be initiated at the various subsidiaries of ABN dotted across Ghana.
ABN currently comprises of Angel Fm and Pure FM in Kumasi, Angel Fm in Accra, Angel Fm in Sunyani , Cheers Fm Sunyani , OFm in Obuasi ,Angel fm in Takoradi , Cheers Fm in Takoradi, Darling Fm Cape Coast , KFm in Techiman ,angel fm bolga, Angel Fm in Tamale and Taste Fm in Koforidua.
There are plans in the offing to operationalize Holy Fm in Kumasi, Trinity Fm in Takoradi , Grace Fm in Sunyani, Angel Fm in Ho and Cheers Fm in Drobo.
Angel Broadcasting Network (ABN Ghana) is owned by Millionaire Dr. Kwaku Oteng and has over 19 radio stations and 1 television across Ghana as its subsidiaries.
Dr. Kwaku Oteng is also the owner of conglomerate of businesses including Adonko Bitters, Plus 2 pub, Angel TV, Angel Educational Complex, Angel Estate and Construction firm, Angel herbal products, Angel transport and trading and many others.
