Vodafone Ghana Music Awards this Saturday

Charterhouse, organiser of the Vodafone Ghana Music Awards (VGMA), has promised that this year’s edition of the awards ceremony will be a memorable one for patrons and music lovers across the country.

The awards ceremony, which is the 20th edition, will take place this Saturday, May 18 at the Accra International Conference Centre (AICC) tonight in Accra.

It is being organised to reward deserving artistes for their hard work, dedication and contribution to Ghana’s music industry.

It will witness live stage performances from music heavyweights such as Sarkodie, Samini, Stonebwoy, Shatta Wale.

They will rock the stage alongside Kwame Eugene, Kwesi Arthur, Kidi, King Promise, Medikal and Diana Hamilton.

There will be surprise performances from highlife legend Abrantee Amakye Dede, hiplife artiste Barima Sydney and two others.

International acts such as Alison Amanda Hinds from Barbados, Cassper Nyovest from South Africa and Burnaboy from Nigeria have also been invited to thrill fans at the event.

The event is expected to be attended by a large number of music stakeholders, music fans, artiste managers, journalists, among others.

Tickets are selling for GH¢ 400 (platinum) and GH¢250 (gold).

The 20th Vodafone Ghana Music Awards is supported by TV3, DSTV, GoTV, MTV Base, KPMG, Graphic Showbiz and sponsored by Vodafone.
