Praye has praised Charterhouse Ghana Limited – the organisers of the annual Vodafone Ghana Music Awards (VGMA) – branding the award scheme as a national asset.
In a documentary released by the organisers just a few hours after the group lambasted the award scheme, the hiplife group have highly praised the award scheme for their efforts.
“…the thing is Ghana Music Awards!” Praye Tiatia said with a bold voice. “…that thing bold in Ghana. Which means the whole Ghana and beyond have accepted that your song or whatever category you have been nominated for is the best.”
Praye Honeho admitted that VGMA makes one the toast of the moment.
“The impact the award has had on us has been huge. When you are the new artiste of the year, it’s like a big welcome into the industry. You get to play shows and seen everywhere,” Honeho stated.
Praye Tenten said the 20th anniversary is historic and that the organisers have been supportive to their career.
Earlier today, the group had a hot exchange with George Quaye – the Communications Director for Charterhouse – for snubbing them at this year’s awards.
But Charterhouse released their documentary a few hours after the group called George Quaye a fool.
It looks like this is the ultimate shade!
