Travis Scott has continued the rollout of his anticipated Utopia album by pulling up to Cannes Film Festival in France, where The Weeknd’s The Idol premiered.
La Flame hit the red carpet in Cannes on Monday night (May 22) to support Abel and his new HBO series while rocking a dark brown outfit that matched the brown Utopia briefcase that’s been chained to his security wherever he goes.

While it’s unclear exactly what’s inside the secretive box, it’s been great promotion for the album nonetheless. The Cannes premiere adds to a string of public appearances from Travis with the briefcase in yet another signal that Utopia‘s arrival is on the horizon.

Epic Records CEO Sylvia Rhone previously added to the excitement by revealing in an interview with Billboard that the long-awaited album will finally be out this summer.

“We have a new Travis Scott record, expected to come in June,” she said.

Scott’s red carpet outfit in France also stirred up conversation when it came to his footwear as it appears he quietly debuted a new Nike sneaker to further extend his lucrative partnership with Air Jordan.

Sneaker News speculated that the low-top brown kicks could be a new Cactus Jack x Jordan product or more along the lines of the existing Nike SB Ishod colorway.

The Houston rager seemingly can’t get enough of the Air Jordan 1 low, though, as he recently shipped out olive Utopia-inspired kicks to friends and family — including his DJ Chase B, who unboxed the sneakers in a video posted to social media.

Earlier this month, La Flame pulled up to Fanatics CEO Michael Rubin’s Cali mansion where he and NFL legend Tom Brady provided mentorship to the top quarterbacks in the 2023 NFL Draft, such as CJ Stroud, Will Levis, Anthony Richardson and the No. 1 overall pick, Bryce Young.

Scott also made a trip to Minute Maid Park in his hometown of Houston, Texas where he reportedly played the finished version of Utopia for the Houston Astros.
