Travis Kelce helped a fan work through a dry spell in the bedroom with his wife with some sizzling advice.
The Kansas City Chief star, 35, and brother Jason Kelce took listener questions about dating and relationships during a special edition of their “New Heights” podcast released via Wondery+ on Thursday, October 31.
The brothers helped out a man in his 50s who was “going through a spell” of his wife not being “interested in sex whatsoever.” The caller wasn’t sure about how to handle the dry patch and said he would never cheat on his spouse.
“I will personally mention that I have no idea what that’s [like],” Travis happily proclaimed.
The Super Bowl champ suggested, “Try role play one night, you know, see if she’s up for that. Go to Spencer’s and get some f–king sex stuff, man, I don’t know.”
Travis also proposed some less risqué ways of keeping the spark alive.
“Maybe just try to get some candles, get some rose petals, try and be a little romantic. Maybe you just gotta rekindle that flame or something, get that thing going. Take her to a nice restaurant,” he told the listener. “These are all things that I would try and do just based off what I heard. That’s tough, man.”
Jason, 36, added his take. “Start setting that thing up early. Women, they’re weird. They don’t just always want to have sex. I don’t know why, they don’t operate on the same wavelength as us. … Women like to be sought after.”
Travis — who has been dating pop superstar Taylor Swift since August 2023 — shared some heartfelt insight when another caller asked, “How do you know that a relationship is solid?”
“I feel like [it’s] when you know someone’s life,” the Ohio native explained. “When you see someone’s day-to-day and you can understand that, and you get into a routine of being with that person or talking to that person about their daily routines consistently. You naturally just feel the genuine connection.”
“Family is a good [sign],” Travis added. “When you get introduced, that’s huge. That’s a next step kind of thing, for sure.”
The pro athlete may have indicated how serious he and Taylor, 34, were when she made her first appearance at a Kansas City Chiefs game on September 24, 2023. The “Lavender Haze” singer shared a box with Travis’ mom, Donna Kelce, as they cheered him on during the team’s win against the Chicago Bears.
Taylor went on to hang out with Travis’ dad, Ed Kelce, during an October 12, 2023, game against the Denver Broncos. The tight end joked on the October 18, 2023 “New Heights” podcast, “You can see in this picture all he’s doing is just pumping her up,” before revealing, “He’s started listening to her music a little more.”
Travis got his turn at meeting Taylor’s family when he had dinner with the Grammy winner and her dad, Scott Swift, during her Eras tour stop in Buenos Aires, Argentina, in November 2023. The two men later had a bonding experience by taking in her concert together from the VIP tent.
Scott, 72, reportedly gushed to an airline seatmate about his daughter’s relationship with Travis as they sat next to each other during a recent flight. The woman shared her experience in a Tuesday, October 29, TikTok video, along with a video snippet of the pair having a conversation on the plane.
“He did talk about how much he loves Travis for her, which was super cute,” the seatmate, also named Taylor, said.
The seatmate went on to add, “He did say that out of all of her boyfriends over the past 12 years, Travis has made the biggest impact, and that Travis has a phenomenal family.”
