Jason and Travis Kelce are weighing in on their PEOPLE’s Sexiest Man Alive win!
The brothers opened up on the latest episode of their New Heights with Jason and Travis Kelce podcast about being named as the Sexiest Podcast Hosts Alive in PEOPLE’s Sexiest Man Alive 2024 Readers’ Choice Poll, which was voted on by more than 350,000 readers.
“We’re officially, in quotes, this is not me saying this, ‘Sexiest Podcast Hosts Alive’ according to PEOPLE Magazine, the readers’ poll,” Travis, 35, shared.
“Oh nice!,” Jason, 36, replied.
Kansas City Chiefs tight end Travis and former Philadelphia Eagles center Jason beat out competition from popular podcasters including Penn Badgley (Podcrushed), Josh Peck (Good Guys) and T.J. Holmes (Amy & T.J.) for the title.
“Who are these other guys?,” Jason joked on New Heights.
“So we had a whole bunch of people vote on who the sexiest podcasters were, and sure enough sexy ass Jason Kelce wins it for everyone as always,” the Chiefs player said, lauding his older brother.
The pair’s podcast has gone from strength to strength since launching in September 2022, with the siblings reflecting on everything from their experiences on the field and sharing personal stories to discussing cultural touchstones. Their fun back-and-forth banter and occasional mentions about Travis’ superstar girlfriend Taylor Swift have also drawn in new audiences.
The brothers have long referred to their fans as “92 percenters,” joking that 92% of listeners tune in for football, while the remainder are Swifties and other non-NFL fans. After Travis’ romance with Swift, 34, became public, Jason said during a panel at Sport Beach 2024 that it’s “been fun” to embrace their new demographic.
“It’s been fun for me, I have three little girls, so in some ways, the show and everything that’s transpired over the past year, has given reasons for girls to get involved in a sport where previously there wasn’t that much interest,” he said during the event in June.
“So all of a sudden, dads are hanging out with daughters and there’s worlds colliding, and our show gets to be another place where worlds collide, and it’s awesome,” he continued.
