Apart from Salman Khan’s Tiger 3, cinegoers will enjoy one more Diwali treat in the form of The Marvels, which is directed by Nia DaCosta. The latest film of the Marvel Cinematic Universe will bring three female superheroes, Carol Danvers aka Captain Marvel (Brie Larson), Kamala Khan, aka Ms. Marvel (Iman Vellani), and Captain Monica Rambeau (Teyonah Parris) together for the first time on the silver screen.
While the film is expected to be a massive success across the globe, in a recent interview director Nia expressed her desire to work with the Bollywood megastar Shah Rukh Khan.

In a conversation with News 18, when the filmmaker was asked if given a chance to work with a Bollywood star, who would it be and without even taking a second she replied, “Shah Rukh Khan is kind of a legend, isn’t he? It’s kind of a no-brainer in that sense.”
While the movie represents various communities from across the globe, the filmmaker said that she never felt the weight about it. “I inherited an amazing cast in the Khan family and Kamal Khan. And Park Seo Joon was an actor that I just thought was amazing and when this character (Prince Yan) came up, I was like he would be really good for this. I was just excited for the opportunity to put more people in the film from different backgrounds but I didn’t feel pressured around it,” said DaCosta.
Also starring Zawe Ashton, Park Seo-joon, and Samuel L. Jackson, the film will release in English Hindi, Tamil, and Telugu.
Meanwhile, Shah Rukh Khan is gearing up for the release of Dunki, which film also features Vicky Kaushal, Taapsee Pannu and Boman Irani in prominent roles. It is set to hit the screens during the Christmas weekend.
