The gun Stonebwoy displayed at the VGMA’s was a water pistol – Shatta Wale

Shatta Wale has made a shocking statement concerning his VGMA incidence with Stonebwoy and it is sure to spark a new controversy or it’s a new antic he’s using to get the case out of court.

Dancehall artistes, Shatta Wale and Stonebwoy have had bad blood ever since Shatta Wale started picking on Stonebwoy and mocking his injured leg.

Out of frustration, anger and an unsettled dispute, Stonebwoy brought out an Australian gun INFK 158 on stage at the VGMA’s which brought the event to a temporal with some celebrities running home for their safety.

 

 

Despite the fact that the show continued later, their actions caused fear and panic causing several people to run home.

Charterhouse banned both artistes, while the state sanctioning them. Shatta Wale and Stonebwoy were charged for issuing threats and using abusive words with the intention to disturb the peace of the area while Stonebwoy was charged again for exposing the gun. Both men were permitted bail in the sum of GH¢50,000.00 each with one surety.

The two, Shatta wale and Stonebwoy are in court defending their actions and will head to court once again but in the latest development, Shatta Wale has defended his cousin, Stonebwoy stating that the gun brandished by the dancehall artiste at the event was just a water pistol and not an actual gun.

In an interview with Kwasi Aboagye on Peace FM, the “Gringo” hit-maker posited that he was later told Stonebwoy was carrying a gun but in his mind, he never saw him with a gun.

Shatta Wale added that he doubts it was a real gun and that it was a water gun.

“Stonebwoy loves water pistol. He is my cousin and when he was young, he uses to play with water pistol so I am sure it was a water pistol and not a real gun” he said.

Shatta wale was in the studios of Peace Fm answering questions concerning his ‘Wonder Boy’ album.
