The amount Obofour gave me for performing at his church can buy iPhone 11 Pro- Fameye

For the first time, Fameye has given the rough figure of money he was paid by a reverend Obofour to perform at his church.

According to Fameye, the amount Obofour gave him can buy the new iPhone 11 Pro but he refused to give the exact figure.

Considering the fact that iPhone 11 Pro is almost GH¢7000 in Ghana, it is not far fetched to know that Fameye was paid almost GH¢10,000 for that one performance.

Fameye explained that Obofour is one of his biggest fans and he hype him a lot so he did not charge him. But Obofour freely gave him that amount after he was done.

The ‘Nothing I Get” Hitmaker was chatting with Dr. Prekese on Onua Fm when the conversation on how much he was paid came up

“I know he [Rev. Obofour] likes my songs and has always been hyping me and so I didn’t see the need to charge him for performing in his church. But what he gave me can buy iPhone 11 Pro”, he told Dr. Prekese, host of Onua FM drive time, “Efie Ne Fie”.

In September 2019, a video of Fameye performing at Reverend Obofour’s Anointed Palace Chapel went viral.

It was later discovered that it was the wedding of one of his junior pastors and Fameye was the guest artist invited by Obofour.
