Teekay Kotu and Kelly Khumalo make a fine team, and one can only nod at the result of their coming together – a song of understated elegance that should have no trouble making the playlist of lovers of good music out there.
Compared to the guest artiste, the lead artiste hasn’t popped much on our orbit. All the same he make a fine team with Kelly. The evidence is all over that song.
Kelly Khumalo, who fancies herself “The oice of Africa,” is one of South Africa’s notable voices, with an impressive body of work to her name.
The “Dance Comigo” ace pairs well with Teekay and it’s hard not to want to see them collaborate again.
The songstress was said to have been tapped to replace Somizi on the Idols SA circuit but she turned it down because she already has another reality show commitment. She was one of several names peddled to replace Somizi back then.
Anyway, she’s still her charming self working alongside Teekay. The result is splendid and something to lap up. Gotta make a place for it on your playlist this weekend.
