Are you ready for Taylor Swift’s next era?
Taylor Swift | The Eras Tour Book, a 256-page commemoration of her year-plus long Eras Tour, hit Target shelves on Friday, Nov. 29, with hundreds of pictures and anecdotes from Swift’s nearly 20-month-long world tour for Swifties to pour over.
There are behind-the-scenes images of costumes, set pieces and personal reflections written by Swift, 34, as well as a note she wrote for her fans in the front cover of the book. “I’ll never forget the call when I explained my idea of the concept for The Eras Tour to my team,” Swift wrote in the letter, eventually reflecting that the feat required her “to be more disciplined and committed to my health, fitness and stamina” than ever before.
Swift, 34, complimented her “incredible crew, band, singers and dancers who all matched my dedication to the massive scale and challenges of this show” before shouting out all the fans who turned out for each concert.
“We do it because life comes in waves, in phases, in brilliant flurries of magical moments, and all of these things come together to create… Eras,” she wrote. “Here is the official retrospective of the most wondrous tour of my life, my beloved Eras Tour.”
“See you next era…” Swift finished in the letter; the last line is printed in her own handwriting, with her signature at the bottom.
The “Lavender Haze” singer announced the book about her historic tour across five continents and 100 shows on Oct. 15 during a Good Morning America segment.
“Here is the official retrospective of the most wondrous tour of my life, my beloved Eras Tour,” Swift said at the time, according to a release. “Thank you to the fans who came to this show. You were what made The Eras Tour what it became.”
Swift kicked off her Eras Tour in March 2023 in Arizona and has since traveled throughout North America, South America, Europe, Asia and Australia to play songs from her catalog ranging from her self-titled debut album to her 2024 releaseThe Tortured Poets Department — which got its own era during the show.
Swift performed for hundreds of thousands of fans throughout her 100+ shows, including many celebrities from Julia Roberts, Tom Brady, Serena Williams, Tom Cruise, Ashton Kutcher, Mila Kunis and Meghan Markle to Mariska Hargitay, Zooey Deschanel and Jonathan Scott.
The 14-time Grammy winner’s boyfriend, Travis Kelce, even got in on the Eras Tour fun. In addition to attending several shows to support his girlfriend, the Kansas City Chiefs tight end joined Swift onstage for the “I Can Do It With A Broken Heart” costume change skit.
