Taylor Swift Is Ready For Her ‘Next Era’ With Travis Kelce After The Eras Tour
Pop star Taylor Swift is ready to celebrate her “next era” with NFL star Travis Kelce after she wraps up The Eras Tour later this year.
The “I Can Do It With A Broken Heart” singer recently celebrated her one-year anniversary with the Kansas City Chiefs tight end and it looks like their relationship is showing no signs of slowing down.
Travis Kelce And Taylor Swift Still Going Strong Despite VMAs Absence
Many fans speculated that Travis Kelce and Taylor Swift might be on the outs when he failed to accompany her to the MTV Video Music Awards on September 11, but that is far from the case. While accepting the award for Video of the Year for the song “Fortnight,” Taylor thanked Travis for cheering for the crew between takes on set.
“Everything this man touches turns to happiness and fun and magic,” she told a cheering crowd. “So I want to thank him for adding that to our shoot because I will always remember that.”
Only days before, the couple put their PDA on display on display at the U.S. Open on September 8. The pair were seen dancing and cuddling up to each other as they sang along to the 2003 Darkness song “I Believe in a Thing Called Love.”
Travis Kelce Knew What He ‘Signed Up For’ Before Dating Taylor Swift
The attention might have been enough to bring an end to some of her previous relationships, but sources told Us Weekly that Kelce was ready for the attention that came with dating one of the most famous women on the planet. “They’ve built a lot of trust. They both knew what they signed up for and navigated it well,” a source told the publication. “They’re in love and don’t care what others think.”
Now that they have been dating for over a year, they are starting to take the next steps in their relationship as The Eras Tour comes to an end. “Taylor and Travis are very committed and serious about their future,” a second source told the publication. “Taylor is ready for the next era of her life. She knows it will be special.”
The “Love Story” singer has been on the road with The Eras Tour for over a year now. Although she had a brief hiatus in September, she will hit the road again in late October as she travels through North America on the final leg of her tour. The Eras Tour will officially end on December 8 after 152 successful shows. Although her fans are no doubt disappointed to see The Eras Tour come to an end, others are excited to see her finally get some rest and spend more time with Travis.
“It’s been amazing since Taylor and Travis reunited,” a source told Us Weekly, noting that the two are “loving every minute together” since she returned to the U.S. in late August. The two were photographed at her Rhode Island mansion along with famous A-list friends like Ryan Reynolds, Blake Lively, Bradly Cooper, Gigi Hadid, and Patrick and Brittany Mahomes.
“Taylor’s been working nonstop and wanted to spend some time there while the weather is still good,” a source previously told the publication. “It was really the first time everyone had come together in one place in a long time.”
Even though they have traveled all over the world together, one of the couple’s favorite things to do is to just spend time at home and enjoy the time that they both get to spend with one another. “They are both chill people who love their downtime,” the source continued. “Staying in is a luxury for them. They enjoy cooking dinner together. It’s a refreshing contrast to their [public] lives.”
Another source told the publication that the couple has found a “good balance” between going out on dates and staying at home. Part of their date nights include Taylor’s public appearances at Chiefs games. “She loves cheering Travis on and supporting him as much as he loves cheering her on,” the source explained.
“Taylor has come to love football and is really excited the season is back,” another source added. “She’s loved being around the football community. It’s a reprieve from work for her, and Travis is excited she’s fully ingrained in his world.”
