Taylor Swift made a glaring spelling error during her latest Eras Tour stop in Indianapolis, Ind., but fans say she’s “kind of right” for the faux pas.
Each night of her viral concert tour, the singer signs the hat worn at the start of the Red era, adding the tour stop and the year around the brim. Then, during the opening number, “22,” she hands the hat off to one lucky fan hand-selected by her team.
However, on at least one of the three hats handed out during her recent weekend in the city colloquially known as Indy, she misspelled the capital’s nickname, writing out “Indi 2024” instead.

While a few fans thought the error was “so funny,” most conceded that she was so “right” for the letter swap.
“Indi kinda makes more sense though since it’s Indianapolis,” one person pointed out, while another admitted, “that’s how i was spelling it at first. i feel seen.”
“she is just like me😂😂,” a third agreed.
“Wait she’s kind of right though…” another commenter affirmed, pointing out that there “ain’t no Y in Indianapolis.”
“she truncated instead of shortened lol,” one person suggested, while someone else guessed she “wrote too big and ran out of space before she could finish” writing out the entire name of the city.
“She was going to spell Indianapolis and then gave up 🤭,” another quipped.
Fans pulled out the jokes, too, with one reply reading, “Indy (Tailor’s Version),” and one other suggesting that the error was an easter egg, writing, “Chat it’s a code for rep tv (clowning again).”
