Matching puffer jackets are the new friendship bracelets. Just ask Taylor Swift and Brittany Mahomes, who twinned in nearly-identical red Chiefs coats dedicated to their men while making their Instagram debut as BFFs.
Over the weekend, Brittany shared the first photos of her and Taylor to her grid, writing in the caption: “Twinning & Winning ????.” In the snapshots, the two wore matching Nike jackets — which were designed by Kristin Juszczyk, wife of Kyle Juszczyk, a fullback for the San Francisco 49ers — with their respective significant other’s name and jersey number embroidered on the front, back, and down the sleeves. They both wore skinny black pants with coordinating boots and accessorized with white hats (Swift opted for a knitted beanie, while Mahomes chose a furry bucket hat).
Each styled their long blonde hair in loose waves, and while Taylor swiped on her signature red lip, Brittany went several shades lighter with a dark pink hue.
Mahomes shared the new photos of her and Swift just one day after the Chiefs beat the Miami Dolphins 26-7. During the game, the two braved the subzero temperatures and cuddled up the stands, alongside Travis Kelce’s mom, Donna, to cheer on the team.
Swift and Mahomes have become fast friends since the pop star started dating Kelce. Back in September, the two were first spotted out publicly in New York City grabbing dinner at Emilio’s Ballato with Swift’s other squad members, Sophie Turner and Blake Lively, and a month later, they showed off their secret handshake during the Chiefs-Chargers game.
