Rapper, Maradona Yeboah Adjei popularly known in showbiz as Guru has advised his fellow musicians to making money their priority.
The ‘Journey of Judah’ hit maker stated that he’s surprised how some artistes in the country spend much time on Instagram searching for social presence and acceptance.
In an official twitter post, the musician cum song writer hinted that investing in digital stores results in more revenue than busily looking for likes and comments on Instagram which doesn’t add up anything better to their bank accounts.
“Take note. My dear Ghanaian artiste, 1 million Spotify Streams equal about $7000, whereas 1 million Instagram followers equal likes and comments with no pay, so set your priority right” he tweeted.
He further called on fellow musicians to task leaders of the country to fix-in problems of the nation instead of exhausting all their their prime leisure time on Instagram.
“Tell the leaders to fix the system in Ghana. Something must change,” Guru urged.
