SNOOP DOGG’S SNOOP DEVILLE RESURFACES AT TEXAS CADILLAC DEALERSHIP

Snoop Dogg‘s 1966 Cadillac DeVille lowrider was once his favorite car, but he later offloaded it in a private sale – and it just popped back up as a permanent fixture at a new Texas Cadillac dealership.

According to a TMZ report on Saturday (June 10), the classic Snoop DeVille – which was heavily featured in Snoop and 50 Cent‘s 2003 “P.I.M.P. Remix” video – will now be on display at the Cadillac of Arlington. The car’s previous owner told the outlet that he brokered a deal with the family-owned dealership group.

Meanwhile, Snoop Dogg has been pushing for ownership of the NHL’s Ottawa Senators – engaging in a bidding war among numerous potential owners that included actor Ryan Reynolds.

First reported by The Athletic, Snoop has sought to become the NHL’s first Black owner with the Senators’ purchase. Reynolds’ group allegedly includes a bid north of $1billion, and The Weeknd would come along as part of the team as well.

Snoop confirmed the news and voiced his hope to grow the game of hockey within the Black community. “Amazing what @neko_sparks is trying to do in Ottawa & I’m looking forward to being apart of that ownership team,” he wrote to Instagram at the time. “I WANNA BRING HOCKEY TO OUR COMMUNITY.”

On the music side, Snoop Dogg and Dr. Dre were scheduled to perform at the Hollywood Bowl on June 27 and June 28 – but in support of the striking Writers Guild of America (WGA), they’ve decided to push the shows to October.

“Hollywood Bowl! June 26 and 27, we gotta move that date! Me and Dr. Dre, we stand in solidarity with the writers, so what we’re gonna do, we gonna push it back to October 20 and October 21,” Snoop said in a video posted on June 2.

The accompanying caption also stood in solidarity with the writers. “Due to the ongoing WGA strike and the DGA and SAG/AFTRA negotiations, we have decided to postpone the shows scheduled for June 27 and June 28 at the Hollywood Bowl,” it read.

“We stand in solidarity with the unions and are hopeful that the AMPTP will negotiate fair deals as soon as possible and everybody can get back to work.”
