Sheryl Crow didn’t mean to leave her fans high and dry in Atlanta.

The “Soak Up the Sun” singer was originally set to open for Zach Bryan’s Quittin Time Tour stops at Mercedes-Benz Stadium in Atlanta on Aug. 10 and 11, but she ended up pulling out of the performances — though fans may not have been properly informed, as she later issued an apology.

“I’m so sorry to those who bought tickets to see me open for Zach Bryan at @mercedesbenzstadium this weekend and were disappointed that I wasn’t there,” wrote Crow, 62, in an Instagram Story post on Aug. 12.

“Back in March, we had to pull out due to scheduling issues. I assumed Zach and @livenation would make it known,” added the Grammy winner. “I’m so sorry.”

Reps for Bryan and AEG Presents, the touring company behind his ongoing run of shows, did not immediately respond to PEOPLE’s request for comment. [The Quittin Time Tour is not presented by Live Nation.]

Crow was announced as one of the Atlanta concerts’ opening acts in August 2023 alongside fellow musician Levi Turner, who ultimately opened the shows with Ole 60.

The “All I Wanna Do” musician is currently opening for Pink’s Summer Carnival 2024, and her first date on the tour was Aug. 10 at The Dome at America’s Center in St. Louis.

She’ll continue performing with the “Get the Party Started” artist for shows in cities including Toronto, Philadelphia, Chicago, San Diego, Las Vegas, Los Angeles and more before concluding at Camping World Stadium in Orlando on Nov. 18.

Bryan’s tour, however, hasn’t been without its special guests. During his Aug. 7 show at Lincoln Financial Field in Philadelphia, Bruce Springsteen appeared on stage to perform his 1982 song “Atlantic City” with the country star as well as their collaboration, “Sandpaper.”

Also at the Aug. 7 show, Bryan was joined on stage by The Lumineers to sing their 2023 duet “Spotless,” before the band, Springsteen and comedian Shane Gillis all joined forces to close out the show with Bryan’s 2020 track “Revival.”

The Quittin Time Tour continues through December with shows throughout the United States and Canada.
