Previously, her cosmetics brand, Rare Beauty, also shared how they were helping displaced communities affected by the wildfires.

Selena Gomez and her fiancé, Benny Blanco, decided to step out and do their part in helping the community navigate through the aftermath of the LA wildfires. On Thursday, the singer and actor took to her Instagram Stories to show how the couple were on the ground, distributing food to displaced families. They sought the help of the LA first responders and firefighters.
In the videos shared by Gomez, she and Blanco dressed down and wore masks before sorting through La Macellaia sandwiches alongside the first responders. In another video, the actor gave a shoutout to the emergency workers for their service. While zooming in on the police officials and firefighters in the video, she wrote, “Grateful for these individuals.” Other videos saw the couple dividing the sandwiches into different bags and boxes with the help of other volunteers.
A few days ago, Selena Gomez’s cosmetics brand, Rare Beauty, also shared the way they are helping displaced communities through the LA fire disaster. The brand donated to the Los Angeles Fire Department Foundation and World Central Kitchen. Furthermore, they assembled emergency care kits and worked towards providing mental health support to people through their Rare Impact Fund.
Besides Gomez and Blanco, many other celebrities have supported displaced families by the LA fires. More recently, Taylor Swift donated to several organizations working towards helping the local community.
