Sarkodie just tweeted he wasn’t at Kempinski to see Cardi B … in a funny way

As part of a concert, organisers booked the American rapper which perfectly coincided with Ghana’s Year of Return, which is aimed at hosting people from the diaspora in 2019.

Grammy Award-winning musician Cardi B was mobbed at the airport after touching down in Ghana as a host of Ghanaian celebrities also were at her hotel to see her.

BET Awards and Ghana Music Awards-winning rapper Sarkodie was seen in a video that has since gone viral at the Kempinski Hotel Gold Coast City Accra where Cardi B will stay during her time in Ghana.

Fans thought The Highest was at the hotel to meet Cardi B but Sarkodie quickly took to his social media to debunk the claim in a funny way.

Sarkodie quoted the video writing:

“To see Cardi B s3 s3n? Massa meko da me d3m lol … See y’all tonight” which literally translates:

“To see Cardi B how? Sir, I’m going to sleep in my room. Lol … See you all tonight”

Cardi B is set to perform alongside Sarkodie and Shatta Wale, two of Ghana’s biggest music stars.
