Russ has released a new single titled “Shut Me Up,” featuring Big Sean. The track appears on the deluxe edition of his project W!LD and draws inspiration from the Netflix series Baby Reindeer.

The song samples Bonnie Beecher’s “Come Wander With Me,” which was featured in the third episode of the show. Russ reworked the sample, giving it a faster tempo and heavier bounce. To bring the production together, he enlisted Detroit producer Helluva, who helped shape the track with a sound rooted in Detroit’s energetic hip hop style.
