“Man I love you mama,” Willis wrote while sharing a cute photo of Moore cuddling her granddaughter Louetta
Rumer Willis is thankful for her mom Demi Moore!
On Monday, May 13, Willis, 35, shared a cute photo of Moore, 61, cuddling her granddaughter Louetta, 1, whom Willis welcomed on April 18, 2023 with boyfriend Derek Richard Thomas.
Her daughter was wrapped in a green towel while Moore, who was wearing a striped T-shirt, looked up at the camera for the adorable shot.
“Man I love you mama @demimoore I know I’m a day late but you’re worth the wait,” Willis wrote on her Instagram Stories the day after Mother’s Day.
“You are [an] icon and muse. A quirky, funny, goofy, magical mama. You are so generous and the best YaYa. We are so lucky to have you,” the actress added.
Willis’ post came after she shared an adorable video on May 12 to mark her second Mother’s Day since welcoming Louetta.
Her Instagram Reel included multiple shots of her baby bump while she was pregnant alongside some photos of her mom Moore and dad, Bruce Willis, 69, holding their granddaughter, among an array of other photos and videos.
“Oh my girl. Being your mama is the greatest hurt in the whole entire world. You are my everything. Becoming a mother has been the portal I always knew it was and yet so much more than I ever imagined,” the My Divorce Party star shared of her daughter in the caption.

She went on, “Growing you in my belly and watching you grow this last year has been the privilege of my life my tiny tender, strong, hilarious, fiery, wild child you and the sweetest most loving being I have ever known.”
“It is such a gift to be loved by you and I know I’m not the only one who feels it. Everyone who meets you if complete taken with you and can’t believe how magic you are,” Willis added.
“Every day with you is so fun and wonderful. I love your singing and silly faces and scrunched nose when you smell flowers. ???? you are my bestest little friend and truly the love of my life. Louetta Isley you are a ⭐️ Love you always. Mama,” she wrote.
While speaking to PEOPLE earlier this year, Willis said “it was never a question” for her that she wanted to become a mother one day.
“My mom had me when she was 25, so I think as 25 started approaching and I had no boyfriend, I was like, ‘Oh my God,’ ” she said. “Then 30 hit, and I kept telling everyone, ‘Well, maybe I’ll just do it by myself.’ I could feel like her little spirit around me and so knew that that was my path.”
“When I would share that with people, even when I was in my late 20s, they were like, ‘You’re so young. You have so much time. What’s the rush?’ ” Willis continued.
“I’d be like, ‘No, no. You don’t understand. This is it for me.’ As soon as I had her, it was like everything really clicked into place. It was exactly what I thought it would be. It also gave me a gift of knowing to trust my own intuition about what is right for me. I’ve never been happier in my life that I have this tiny little niblet.”
