Rick Ross has offered up some financial advice to his neighbors in an effort to convince them that his contentious car show will actually benefit the Fayetteville, Georgia community.
Rozay posted a video on his Instagram Stories on Wednesday (May 17) in which he explained how his upcoming motoring event, which is slated to be held at his Promise Land estate on June 3, will help his neighborhood.
Ever the entrepreneur, the MMG mogul implored his neighbors to capitalize on the influx of petrol heads descending upon the area and make some extra money by charging attendees for parking.
“You know what we did to the financial literacy of the community — not just Fayette, not just Fulton — it goes around. These Airbnbs going through the roof. It’s gon’ be more gas sold on June 3 than y’all sold in six months. Y’all gotta think of the financial literacy that Rozay bringing to the table.
“It ain’t too late to print your signs. The closer you are to the Promise Land, charge ’em $100 a parking spot. The further you are, charge ’em $50. Come on y’all. Y’all wanna make some money or not? We got car washes coming out here, we feeding a lot of people.”
Rozay’s second annual car show — which will include performances from himself and Gucci Mane — was denied a permit by Fayette County earlier this week.
However, the Biggest Bawse has remained resolute and insisted that the show will go on as planned as he’s been complying with county regulations.
“Breaking news, the Rick Ross Car Show June 3 goes on. It must go on,” he claimed in a series of clips posted to Instagram earlier this week. “It’s a private event on private property with VIPs and you’re invited. Tickets still available online. It’s going to be a beautiful event. Shoutout to the beautiful city of Fayetteville.”
The Richer Than I Ever Been rapper also revealed plans to run for mayor in next year’s election to help straighten Fayette County out.
“I love Fayetteville so much. Next year I’m running for mayor,” he said in a separate video. “That’s right. The boss Rick Ross running for mayor of Fayetteville. I wanna know how many votes did it actually take to vote in the mayor of Fayetteville.
“I need to know that ‘cause we gon’ become that. We gon’ make that happen, and we gonna have a good time. We gon’ give some people opportunities, we gon’ give some people raises and, of course, we gon’ have to clean some people out.”
