When we cook rice, the slightly burnt part that remains underneath is what we call ‘Kanzo’ in Ghana.
It’s mostly thrown away as some people do not like it.
Whiles some others prefer it to be added to the main rice since it has some special taste and flavor.
Well, little did we know that in other countries, this is sold in supermarkets.
They call it ‘Scorched rice’.
Photo of one is currently trending on social media with its price pegged at $7.58 which is about GHC40.83.
