Slay Records’ front man and “Seven” hit maker has started the year 2019 with another mid-tempo banger titled “Work” featuring “Mensah” singer Kofi Mole.
Known in private life as Kwesi Appiah, Kwesi Slay, is undoubtedly one of the very best young rappers to emerge from Ashiaman, Accra Ghana.
The new hit, “Work”, stresses on the struggles one faces while fighting to achieve a successful life with hard work. The song produced by Lyriqal Beatz reflects how others are enjoying while he’s working hard to make it because everyone seems to disappear during his struggles.
After announcing his new song, the young artiste tweeted, “i admit that I am gaining recognition very fast within the music industry, and my biggest challenge is staying relevant and to be consistent in the music industry”.
The rapper added he is working very hard in the studio to bring great hit songs to reach higher pedestals.
Kwesi Slay came into the limelight when he won the “Muse Africa Bangers of the Quarter 2018” with his new single “Seven” which featured BET nominee, Kwesi Arthur.
