Vincent Frimpong Manu Esq. is a lawyer, development practitioner and consultant with about 23 year’s work experience. He is the Deputy Chief Executive Officer of the Middle Belt Development Authority (MBDA) in charge of Operations and Projects.
Before joining President Akufo-Addo’s government, he had served in President Kufuor’s government as the National Programme Remediation Officer and later, the National Programme Manager of the National Programme for Elimination of Worst Forms of Child Labour in Cocoa (NPECLC) at the Ministry of Employment and Labour Relations.
He is an international development expert who has contributed immensely to policy development on trade, agriculture, child protection and sustainable value chains in West Africa. He is the immediate past Country Director of World Cocoa Foundation (WCF) in charge of Ghana and Nigeria. He was also Ghana Country Manager at Solidaridad Network where he also coordinated various cocoa sector sustainability interventions in Cameroon, Côte d’Ivoire and Nigeria.
Lawyer Vincent Frimpong Manu has partnered closely with the World Bank and other international development organisations and consulted for a number of UN Agencies on trade, agriculture and child protection issues.
Lawyer Vincent Frimpong Manu is undoubtedly, a staunch NPP member in Kwadaso Constituency and has made huge impact on his constituents. Literally, his tremendous efforts and unending commitment has always centered on infrastructure development and human empowerment, especially the well-being of his constituents.
At national party level, he has served NPP in various forms from being a leading member of TESCON at University of Cape Coast to an active member of the party’s Research Committee at the national level from 2019 to 2022.
Not to lambast the current incumbent MP for his disappointing performance, I implore Kwadaso delegates to consider the illustrious journey of Vincent Frimpong Manu Esq. and the humanitarian impacts done so far within Kwadaso Constituency worthy of becoming the next MP for the Constituency. Lawyer Vincent’s achievements in many ways far exceed the abysmal profile and performance of the incumbent, who’s completely insensitive towards the livelihood of his constituents, and very incompetent in lobbying for developmental projects for his constituency.
The current MP, Associate Prof. Kingsley Nyarko seems to be capable in serving his selfish interest, of which, he has virtually adopted diabolic intimidation mechanism to deter ‘Delegates’ from freely exercising their mandate in the forthcoming Parliamentary Elections in Kwadaso Constituency.
I firmly believe my hardworking Polling Station Executives will go against all odds and give Lawyer Vincent Frimpong Manu the mandate as the NPP Parliamentary Candidate for Kwadaso Constituency.
A Polling Station Youth Organizer, Kwadaso Constituency.
