Something in the Water Fest got a special surprise.

Jay-Z took command of the stage at that point. The legendary musician gave fans what they wanted, starting with The Black Album hit “Public Service Announcement.” HOV went through a number of his classic records, and gave the Virginia crowd their own moment when he jumped into “Izzo (H.O.V.A.).” The festival goers sang proudly, “H to the Izz-O, V to the Izz-A, Fo Shizzle, my nizzle used to dribble down in VA.”

Jay put on two amazing performances in just as many nights. The day before, HOV re-opened Webster Hall for his B-Sides concert series. The Roc Nation head brought out New York vets that he used to beef with, such as Nas, Jim Jones, and Cam’ron, showing the maturity and growth of the city and its legends.
