Outlander’s Sam Heughan Jokes Taylor Swift Will ‘Forget’ Travis Kelce After She Meets Him: ‘She’s Gonna Shake Him Off’
“When she comes to Scotland and she sees me in the audience, she’s going to forget all about … him,” Heughan quipped, referencing the Kansas City tight end
Sam Heughan is ready for Taylor Swift’s Eras Tour stop in Scotland — but is Travis Kelce?
In a video shared to Instagram on June 5, the Outlander star, 44, told fans how excited he was to see the “Fortnight” singer take the stage this weekend and personally welcomed her to Edinburgh, Scotland.
“We’re going to go see Taylor Swift play in Scotland and I think most of the cast is going,” he told the camera while dressed in full costume. “She obviously doesn’t know this, but when she comes to Scotland and she sees me in the audience, she’s going to forget all about … him [Travis Kelce] and fall for a man in a ginger wig.”

“How can she resist?” Heughan smiled before jokingly making a subtle jab towards the Kansas City Chiefs tight end. “She’s going to shake him off and take me out instead. I’m really excited!”
Pairing his video with Swift’s track “Ready For It?,” the actor referenced his Outlander character, James Alexander Malcolm Mackenzie Fraser in the caption, “Welcome to Scotland Taylor! 🏴. JAMMF is a Swiftie 🫶.”
Though it all appeared to be in good fun, Kelce may have some competition on his hands. After all, he and Swift found love after he revealed his plans to give her a friendship bracelet with his phone number during her Eras Tour stop in Kansas City.
Since then, the couple has been loud and proud with their newfound romance. Swift supported the NFL player by attending this year’s Super Bowl and the duo were spotted dancing at Coachella Music Festival in April. The Grammy-winning artist has even referenced their relationship in her latest album, The Tortured Poets Department.
Heughan’s video comes shortly after he was spotted taking a stroll in London with an unidentified woman on May 29. The pair held hands and matched in all-black ensembles as they walked side by side in the city’s Soho neighborhood together.
