Hiplife artiste-now-turned-evangelist, Yaw Siki, real named Isaac Okai has shared a throwback picture of his old lifestyle.
Comparing his old habits of being addicted to alcohol, the two pictures clearly depict a great transformation from his old lifestyle to his new found love of preaching the gospel.
Yaw Siki on several Radio and Television interviews has confessed to being a slave to smoking marijuana and watching pornography when he was a secular artiste.
His near-death experience after his accident on the Tema Motorway made him move away from certain “ungodly” acts when he was doing secular music.
In his post on Facebook, the ‘Wope Dodo’ hitmaker glorified God for the positive change after giving his life to Christ, being steadfast and unwavering to the purpose of God.
“No more weed and alcohol, it’s Bible now, glory to God,” Yaw Siki shared on his social media platforms.
His post seems to reaffirm his unshaken commitment to his new found faith.
“He who is saved by grace in Christ will not practice wickedness, he is righteous.” He posted on Twitter
After surviving a gory accident in 2013, the former hiplife artiste, Siki now lives on preaching the gospel.
He had his debut hiplife song ‘Wope Dodo’ in 2011 and switched from secular music to gospel in appreciation of God’s favour for him and the second chance offered him.
Since giving his life to Christ, he has released tracks like ‘Thank You’, ‘Ohene’ and ‘Medi Wekyi’.
