No ‘fake’ prophet should prophesy about me – Donzy warns
Tema-based rapper and singer Elias Ewusi Essel professionally known as Donzy is telling Ghanaian prophets to desist from giving negative prophecies about him.
The “You And The Devil” singer granted his first interview in 2019 yesterday, January 8 with Central Media Awards 19 best drive time host nominee Amansan Krakye on Cape Coast-based Radio Central’s drive.
During the interview Amansan Krakye out of curiosity asked the rapper if he got any prophecy on 31st night.
He said;
”My prophecy came before 31st. I was there when a friend called me saying his pastor has prophesied that I’m going to get accident and I told him to hold it right there because I don’t believe in those things. What I know is what you believe in comes into reality. If you believe you will get money, you will surely get and the vice versa is true. So when you give a prophecy about me and I don’t believe it, it won’t come to pass”.
Donzy also went on to warn prophets not to give any negative prophecies about him in 2019.
”In Ghana most of the prophecies are negative and I don’t want any negative prophecies around me in 2019, I don’t want it. They are making it seem as if it’s only Ghana that there is God. Someone will die and so what ? Why should we be afraid of death. Death is inevitable even if you pray 1000 times a day you will die. So nobody should scare us with cos you change God’s plans. So for me, I’m out of the prophecies”, he added.
Donzy is currently promoting “Your Distin” with Akwaboah and also eyeing VGMA nominations with “You And The Devil”.
