A fan who thought the word “Empawa” was a Ghanaian word, criticized Mr Eazi for choosing a “Ghanaian word for his new distribution instead of going with something more Nigerian which is the land of his parents.
“You name a distribution “Empawa”, a Ghanian word in place of your fathers land. lol, you can aswell call your self “Gyan Easy”,lets know u have sold your birth right.” the fan jabbed.
Mr Eazi then explained to the fan what empawa really means and called the fan out for his inappropriate remarks.
He wrote:
“Lol Empawa is my form of spelling the word Empower! And even if its a Ghanaian word so what? Na your own? The earlier you understand that Unity is strength especially for Us Black people the better for you! Say no to xenophobia, tribalism & all the yamayama that divides us!”
