The gardens of the La Palm Royal Beach Hotel was light up to great performance from Afrobeats singer and ‘Banku’ Music originator, Mr Eazi at his end of year concert dubbed ‘Detty Rave 2’.
It was a star-studded concert as Mr Eazi was joined on stage by several musicians, some of who he’s had collaborations with and as well as some underground artistes.
Big acts who thrilled music lovers on the night include, Sarkodie, Joey B, Pappy Kojo, King Promise, Patapaa, Keche, 5five, Sister Derby, Kwesi Arthur, Bisa Kdei, R2bees and Gasmilla.
The maiden edition of ‘Detty Rave’ was organised in 2017 which was a phenomenal year for the Ghana-based Nigerian.
It was a year the artiste described as the “busiest” year for his career.
Mr Eazi entered into full-time commercial music in 2016 with a hit single ‘Skintight’ featuring songstress Efya.
He was seen touring the world and mounting high-profile platforms such as the James Corden’s late show in 2017 but lost the ‘Best African Artiste of the Year’ award at the 2017 VGMAs to ‘Mad Over You’ hit-maker, RunTown.
Mr Eazi was, however, featured in top magazines such as Vogue and Complex.
