The author of Ecclesiastes made a puzzling statement when he wrote that “time and chance happen to them all”. Indeed, it’s true taking into consideration the words of King Pila, an up and coming artiste.
According to King Pila in a virtual interview with DJ Budah of New Mighty FM fame, he’s a firm believer that most underground or better still up and coming artistes in Ghana are far better, lyrically than some mainstream artistes.

To the best knowledge of King Pila, the only difference between underground artistes and mainstream ones is an opportunity. To him, those who’re well-known in the music industry are just riding on fake hype.
Although he failed to mention names of those mainstream artistes who are wack in the game but just riding on hype to keep their names going. Nonetheless, bunch of them are indeed wack, lyrically.
Consequently, he advised that it’s high time music enthusiasts considered giving underground artistes including himself the needed attention and they (underground musicians) have something good to offer the industry.
