Not long ago, an aggrieved woman identified as Afia Serwaa who claims to be the mother-in-law of popular Kumawood actor Mmebusem accused him of neglecting his mongolism wife. To Afia Serwaa, she wasn’t in Ghana when she was informed about Mmebusem’s willingness to marry her daughter.
Asa good and supportive mother, she paid for all the wedding expenses and even bought a house for him as a way of supporting the marriage considering the ailing nature of her daughter. As a Reminder, the daughter under discussion is suffering from mongolism.
But for reasons best known to Mmebusem, he failed to make the marriage work after taking whopping amount of money from her (Afia Serwaa) in the name of marrying her daughter. It’s at the back of this that Afia Serwaa decided to disgrace Mmebusem for duping and defrauding her.
All this while, Mmebusem was silent about the matter, but the good news is that the most popular actor in Ghana as we speak, Mmebusem has responded to the ongoing buzz in a virtual interview with Amansan Krakye of Radio Central fame in Cape Coast.
In the voice of Mmebusem, there’s no iota of truth in what Afia Serwaa is saying. To his best knowledge, Afia Serwaa is just riding on his name for hype perhaps to get more followers on her social media accounts.
Mmebusem, however, denied ever betrothed to the daughter of Afia Serwaa adding that she (Afia Serwaa) is not the real mother of the daughter under discussion. Besides, all the footages and images involving him and the her “daughter” were purely from a movie scene which should not be taken with all seriousness.
