The 10-year-old boy Leslie Werpiah Zumanu who went missing Monday morning after leaving home for school has been found.
Leslie was found at the home of his father at fishpond, a suburb of Achimota.
But, details of how the boy ended up at the home of his Dad is still sketchy. The Father had earlier denied knowledge of the whereabout of the boy when the mother reached him on Monday.
The couple have been separated and live in different locations in the capital-Accra.
Leslie who is a pupil of the St Joseph Catholic School in Adabraka in Accra did not return after leaving home for school Monday.
School authorities said he did not report for school, when the family rushed to the school to search for him yesterday.
The boy’s mum who was broken told Kasapa 102.5 Fm Tuesday morning:”We’ve made frantic efforts to search for him all these while but to no avail.
But barely 1hr after the miserable interview with Kasapa 102.5 Fm, the mother, Naa called into the Anopa kasapa Morning Show to break the news of reuniting with the boy.
The development comes on the back of rising cases of missing persons in Ghana.
