Miss Peace Ambassadors Ghana 2019 slated for October

The 2019 edition of the Miss Peace Ambassadors Ghana will be held come the month of October as organizers are promising yet another entertaining and historical event with the contestants for the roles battling it out on the stage of destiny come October 2019.

The format of the 3rd edition of the event is expected to be consistent with the general theme of discovering suitable female personalities who will serve as goodwill ambassadors promoting peace message across board and particularly in various Ghanaian Senior High Schools.

This comes as a special bid to advance the message of peace and to promote the need for Ghanaians, especially young people to be involved in the development of the country in a peaceful environment.

The Miss Peace Ambassadors Ghana will be a strong voice for the youth and will embark on a number of speaking engagements in the country to sensitize and encourage more young people to support the growth and development of their country.

To qualify eligibility for the Miss Peace Ambassadors Ghana, participants must be females of Ghanaian descent between the ages of 18 and 30 years and should have attained at least, senior high school education.

Besides the pageant presentations and display on stage involving a number of Ambassadors, three winners ?are expected to emerge who will be honoured and charged for propagating peace in their respective fields of endeavour. They are to be celebrated for their impact in the area of distinguished peace Achievements, nation Building and leadership excellence in their sector.

CEO of Miss Peace Ambassadors, Mr. Abukari Inbrana Awudu in an interview with Rite news said the main aim of the event is to identify women who will be groomed to undertake peace deliberations which is a unique strategy from the regular peace activities usually undertaken by the security forces.

“Usually when we talk of peace deliberations, it is usually about men in the forces but this time Miss Peace Ambassadors is looking at inculcating peaceful attitudes in our various homes because we believe that women are the architects of nation building,” he said.

The Peace Ambassadors will engage churches and other religious bodies in undertaking a number of activities including advocating for peace to stem religious, political and tribal conflicts.

The Project will see the ambassadors undertake various peace campaigns in the Senior High Schools and tertiary institutions. The project is currently undertaking a number of social intervention programs including health screening and food and clothing donations to orphanages.

Miss Peace Ambassador will also in the coming weeks collaborate with the UN Youth Ghana, a national charity youth-led and advocacy organization to undertake various outreach, advocacy and charity programs as part of the Miss Peace Ambassadors Project which is expected to serve as the conducive platform for the peace queens to educate and preach the peace message.

Auditions for the 2019 event are expected to commence in June which will eventually unearth new ambassador queens after the grand event in October.

The 2019 Final of Miss Peace Ambassadors Ghana will take place in October as selected ambassadors would compete for the roles.
