The Duchess of Sussex recently returned from a packed three-day visit to Canada with husband Prince Harry
Meghan Markle is enjoying a day out in Beverly Hills after returning from her recent trip to Canada.
On Thursday, the Duchess of Sussex, 42, was spotted grabbing lunch with friends at Cipriani Beverly Hills.
Wearing a chic ensemble consisting of a black turtleneck paired with billowing black pants, complemented by a luxe brown coat and brown suede Cesta clutch, Meghan was all smiles as she left the restaurant alongside a pal. She topped off the look with black aviator sunglasses — a style Prince Harry (an Apache helicopter-trained pilot!) often wears as well.
The outing comes just days after Meghan and Prince Harry, 39, wrapped their three-day visit to Canada for the official countdown to next year’s Invictus Games in Vancouver and Whistler.
Last week, the couple traveled north to meet with Invictus Games athletes and members of the local community while their children, Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet, stayed back home in Montecito.
“We loved being back in Canada, a place so meaningful to both of us. It was an honor to be welcomed by the Four Host First Nations, as we marked One Year To Go, together with Invictus coaches, competitors and families,” the Duke and Duchess of Sussex exclusively told PEOPLE following the three-day Invictus Games Vancouver Whistler 2025’s One Year to Go celebration.
“It filled our hearts to once again be surrounded by Canadian people, food and culture. We felt the Invictus spirit and excitement throughout Whistler and Vancouver, and are so grateful to all our hosts for organizing such a memorable visit. We’re counting down the days until we return!” they added.
Meghan recently announced she signed a new podcast deal with Lemonada Media.
In addition to the one season of her Spotify series Archetypes now being distributed to all podcast platforms, Meghan is also set to launch a new show that she will host, although no further details on the untitled project have been revealed.
“Being able to support a female-founded company with a roster of thought-provoking and highly entertaining podcasts is a fantastic way to kick off 2024,” she said, adding that she is “eager” to launch her new podcast.
