Megan Thee Stallion has been spotted outside for the first time since emerging victorious in her shooting trial against Tory Lanez.
Lanez was found guilty on all counts of shooting Meg in the feet during a drunken dispute in July 2020 following a high-profile two-week trial in Los Angeles in December.
The Sorry 4 What rapper faces up to 22 years and eight months in prison, as well as subsequent deportation to his native Canada.
Ahead of his February 28 sentencing date, Tory has overhauled his legal team by hiring defense attorneys David Kenner, who helped Snoop Dogg beat his 1993 murder case, and Jose Baez, best known for helping Casey Anthony avoid prison and the death penalty after being charged with murdering her two-year-old daughter Caylee.
As Lanez makes a last push to overturn his convictions, Megan Thee Stallion was spotted out and about celebrating Valentine’s Day with her boyfriend Pardison Fontaine on Tuesday (February 14), before attending a surprise party for her 28th birthday on Wednesday (February 15).
In a picture captured of the former, Pardi and Meg can be seen taking V-Day shots out of appropriately-shaped heart glasses, while a video of the latter shows Meg expressing genuine shock as she’s surprised by friends and loved ones.
The Houston Hottie’s first public appearance also comes after breakup rumors circulated earlier in February when Meg appeared to unfollow Pardi on Instagram. Those rumors clearly proved to be untrue.

The “WAP” rapper’s celebrations come as apologies continue to pour in from her Hip Hop contemporaries, who accused her of lying about Tory Lanez shooting her prior to the trial. Math Hoffa was the latest to issue an official apology to Meg, and admitted it was wrong to jump to conclusions.
“I want to apologize to Megan, too, because I saw 50 [Cent] put out an apology,” Hoffa said in a recent interview with Drink Champs. “We didn’t believe her, we did not believe her, bro, we didn’t believe her. She definitely needed more people. Well, she didn’t really need more people.
“I want to publicly apologize to Megan because as Black men we’re supposed to protect our women and I feel like I failed in that category as far as the things that I said on our podcast…I’m sorry for what you went through. I’m sorry for that coming from a Black man and yeah I apologize.”
“I think with both of them I hope they find better places in their lives because we’ve seen other artists go through shit,” Hoffa added, comparing the situation to Chris Brown beating Rihanna in 2009. “We do need to do more about us just misusing each other.”
50 Cent previously issued an apology to Megan Thee Stallion in January over a meme he’d posted comparing her to Jussie Smollett.
“I’m gonna apologize to Megan Thee Stallion,” 50 said. “I said some things, and it was because… On social media I posted things that, when she was with Gayle [King], she said: ‘Were you intimate with Tory Lanez?’ And she said: ‘What?’ and it was like, ‘No.’ And I was like, ‘Ah, she lying.’
“At that point I knew she was lying, it wouldn’t be no reason for them to be around each other,” he continued. “From that it felt like she was lying – to me.”
