PHILADELPHIA, PA – Meek Mill voiced his frustration and disappointment after learning an armed robbery occurred at the Milano Di Rouge clothing store in Philadelphia. The Dreamchasers founder slammed the robbers via Instagram on Saturday (December 14), taking particular issue with them going after a black-owned business.
“Some bum ass n#%gas robbed Milano store,” he wrote. “all she do is donate and inspire lol y’all brazy … out of all stores that make money in that area own by all races but black… the black people chose to rob the black people … nigga-itis.”
According to CBS Philly, two masked men stole $5,318 from the business on Friday (December 13). Milan Rouge, the store’s owner, also reacted to the armed robbery via Instagram.
“Kept the hood motivated, this the thanks I get!!!” she wrote. “I’m just grateful to God no one got hurt Ps: im going to have a Christmas toy drive at the Milano Di Rouge store. I’ll share more details soon. Thanks for all your kind words & prayers @milanodirouge.”
No arrests have been yet in connection to the robbery.
